About InvestimoPortugal

InvestimoPortugal exists to close a gap in the Portuguese property market: most available tools either oversimplify the numbers or hide the assumptions behind them. We built a calculator that applies the real tax code, mortgage mechanics, and market dynamics of Portugal — and shows every step of the math so investors can question and refine it.

Our principles

Accuracy over shortcuts. We use the official IMT brackets, AIMI thresholds, IMI rates by município, and monetary devaluation coefficients. If a number is simplified, it is flagged.

Transparency over black boxes. Every calculation has a published formula. Users can open the methodology, check assumptions, and understand why a result looks the way it does.

Independence. We are not brokers, not agents, not mortgage originators. There is no conflict of interest between what the tool shows and what you decide.
